ParaZero’s SafeAir is a safety system for commercial drones, providing autonomous drone parachute systems for commercial drone safety for the media and news industries. The SafeAir system protects bystanders on the ground, prevents loss of payload, and safeguards your drone equipment by ensuring your drone always lands safely. ParaZero’s solutions are designed to comply with the future regulation that enables safe flight operations over populated areas and beyond visual line of sight.

The ability to secure authorizations for drone flight over populated areas and beyond-visual-line-of- sight (BVLOS) from aviation regulators is a crucial commercial consideration for companies tapping into the commercial and civil drone market. Commercial drone operators worldwide have now received expanded operational waivers granting drone flight over populated areas using drones fitted with ParaZero’s SafeAir system parachute technology. These waivers enable organizations to conduct critical drone flight operations with an expanded legal flight envelope, allowing the capture of more precise data, imaging, and aerial intelligence.

ParaZero designs smart, autonomous parachute technology for commercial unmanned aerial systems (UAS) designed to protect people, hardware, and payload and enable safe flight operations over populated areas and Beyond Visual Line of Sight.

ParaZero’s patented ‘SafeAir’ system monitors UAS flight in real time, identifies critical failures, and autonomously triggers a parachute in the event of an emergency. The system contains a flight termination system, a black box to enable post-deployment analysis, and warning buzzer to alert people below of a falling UAS.
